Saturday Night: Southern Oregon Wine Institute (UCC), 5:30pm-10pm; Cost $30

Information for Friday, Saturday and Sunday Events.

Registration is closed.  We are unable to give refunds due to venue financial commitments.

Friday Night, November 1, 2013

Ten Down Bowling Alley/Splitz Bar & Grill

6:30-10pm; Appetizers at 7, Pizza at 7:30; optional bowling 8-10

We have the lower section of Splitz Bar & Grill reserved, party room and 10 private lounge-style bowling lanes with comfy couches and coffee tables.  Even if you don’t bowl it’s a fun social atmosphere.  Hang out  on the couches and cheer your friends on!  Beaver game broadcast on TVs all around.

Cost:  $15 per person covers reserving of 3 rooms, appetizers, all you can eat pizza, bowling and shoe rental.

Saturday Morning:  Tour Roseburg High School, Time 11am.  Meet at the Roundabout.

Saturday Night:  Winston Community Center Sit Down Dinner and Program

6-7pm, social hour; 7pm dinner; 8pm program.

Cost $30 Per Person.  No host bar.

Winston Community Center BBQ

11am-2Pm; BBQ food served 12-1.  Bring your own extra food and drinks in addition to provided hotdogs and hamburgers.

Cost $6 per person covers hot dogs, hamburgers chips and a soda.

 

Thinking of not coming? Try these excuses.

If you are not coming to the reunion, you need a good excuse and a note from your Mom. The following reasons have been tried and are unacceptable.

Excuse #1: I’m overweight.
Rebuttal: You’re not alone. Note XXL t-shirt sizes being offered.

Excuse #2: I’m a different person than I was in high school
Rebuttal: Lucky for you, we ALL are. Let’s face it: we could only have improved.

Excuse #3 I don’t look as good as I’d like. I (choose one or more) am bald, have wrinkles, saddlebags, grey hair and no one will recognize me.
Rebuttal: Guess what! You won’t recognize anyone else, either. Using the reunion committee as a representative sample, our whole class looks like a “before” photo in a plastic surgery ad.

Excuse #4: I’m not successful. I’m not (choose one or more) a lawyer, a doctor or rich.
Rebuttal: You’ll be pleasantly surprised to find how much everyone has matured. We may be plump and wrinkled (see Excuse #3, above) but we’re not stupid. Money is not success.

Excuse #5: I was not in a popular clique in school
Rebuttal: Now that we’re old and smart, those cliques have dissolved just like the superficialities they were based on. The only cliques you’ll notice at the reunion will be the sound of your joints as you walk around.

Okay now, drop the excuses and join the fun.

The Roseburg High School Class of 1983 has finally realized that it’s been 30 years since we graduated from high school!

At our age, these realizations come more slowly.  A reunion committee has formed, and we’ll be posting relevant information here, as well as on our Facebook page.

At this point, we are planning on a late fall 2013 reunion.
